Son of British Chieftain Justinian the Pendragon, young Artos has grown up in a quiet coastal village. Justinian entrusts the boy with a vision – to defend the people God has trusted them with. But, with the attack of Barbarian raiders, the village is destroyed, and Artos, the only survivor, is taken as a Saxon slave.
Artos’s will is crushed as he toils under Saxon masters… He begins to despair.One snowy night, Artos is forced to flee. As he collapses at the end of his own strength, God intervenes. With a new understanding and faith in God’s sovereign plan, he sets off with renewed hope.

About the filmmakers
For the past four years, our family's goal has been to inspire Christians to embrace God's purpose for their lives - to take up the world-changing task that God has for them. To that end, we are leveraging one of the most heart-penetrating forces of our time – film.
The Pendragon Team started as a group of two homeschooling families - nine cousins and their parents - with a big idea. As the "Pendragon Project" expanded, God answered our prayers by sending countless volunteers to join our team.
The production was an adventure too. Most of the shooting was done in sets constructed in our backyard. The costumes were sewn in our living room, and the soundtrack was composed in our basement. As we saw Pendragon through to completion, we watched God provide in amazing ways.
Although it is set in a distant time and a faraway place, Pendragon is more than an exciting fantasy - it tells a story that is essential to Christian families today. Through Pendragon's epic battles and dramatic intrigue shines the story of a young man whose life was changed when he submitted himself to God's plan.
Once it was said that the pen was mightier than the sword. Today, feature films are shaping cultural norms and ways of thinking. It is our prayer that through Pendragon, Christian young people would be inspired to live bold, vibrant, lives for Jesus Christ.
